Paul Rumble

Paul is known as an innovative teacher, theorist, writer, developer, and net-worker. He is an experienced professional with over 25 years experience in schools across Queensland and New South Wales including a number of years as a Principal. He is a leader in the new paradigms of learning particularly in the areas of Middle Schooling and Post Compulsory Reform.

He is committed to the development of authentic learning communities which are positive, futures focused, life centred, learner centred and where people see themselves as resources for each other.

Paul has had a number of articles published addressing the new paradigms, and recently completed a major review and a proposal for a Queensland school as it contemplates the introduction of a Middle School structure. The report is available on request.

Paul argues that the greatest challenge facing schools is their ability to instil in their students the capacity to live productive, meaningful, engaged lives as citizens of Gaia, and in building a more equitable and just society.
